Full-service packing is an option, but many customers pack most items themselves. The goal is steady progress, not one exhausting weekend.
Four weeks out, pack rarely used rooms: guest spaces, seasonal décor, and storage areas. Label clearly and keep a list of what is already on the truck mentally.
Two weeks out, tackle kitchens except daily dishes. Wrap fragile items individually; use dish packs or plenty of paper for glasses and plates.
One week out, pack closets except a week of clothing. Use wardrobe boxes for hanging items when possible.
Last 48 hours: pack personal essentials last, but do pack them. Leave only what you need for sleep and morning coffee. Keep documents and valuables with you, not on the truck.
